Found a job at Recruit Express... Ya, headhunting and recruitment company.
WHAT???!!!!!
HUIYI!!! U MAJORED IN MATERIALS ENGINEERING RIGHT?
HOW COME U ARE WORKING AS A PAYROLL EXECUTIVE??!!!

Ya lah, ya lah, i know i know...
Thats the typical answer i get whenever i tell anyone...

Aiya, let me reason out why i took up this job ok...
I also need to convince myself over why i took up this offer -_-'''

1) The workplace is soooooooooooooooo.... NEAR to my house~~!!! It's at Ngee Ann City... Sounds familiar? My office is directly above Taka =)
Haiz, there goes my reason for buying a car le =p
Heez, anyway, i really cant imagine dragging myself up at 5+ everyday just to go to work... Companies that hire materials engineers are usually situated at the far west side of our dearest island lor =p

2) The pay is almost the same as an engineer with 2nd lower honours =p

3) I like admin work mah, did part-time payroll stint before too. Found myself to be disgustingly in love with the job =p

4) After hearing alot of complains from fellow gal grads that the engineering firms dont like and dont wanna hire gals, i gave up... Ya, u know, gals have gal problems every mth, then after awhile need to take maternity leave, then child care leave... And the list goes on la... Lol =p

Anyway, back to the topic of my job.
Started on 10th jul, so theoretically, i did 16 days of work le... Sorry ar, occupational hazard -_-
I hope i dont start counting days or weeks in the number of working days soon =p

It has been quite enjoyable and fun... Though i think lots of people will find it to be boring soon ^^
Nice colleagues, nice environment... Woah, i cant wait to move into my mentor's cubicle, then can wreck havoc le, cos i'll be sharing the room with only another person =p

Down side of the job?
2 peak period per mth... 1st 5 working days and 15th-20th working days...
So it means that i cant go on leave on these days...
Ya, it can also mean working til 10+ or even up til midnight lor...
Lol, no wonder my pay is on par with an engineer's... Cos also need to work my butt off =p

Hmm... Ok la, talk about my convocation another time, need to go bath n sleep le...
Need plenty of concentration, 1st day of peak tmr =p
