Some thoughts after watching my couz's concert on Sun...

Well...

Yah, u can imagine how tempted I was to get back home to pick up and practise my trumpet after neglecting it for more than 2 years...

I've always had that kind of urge everything i return from a band concert, but this time round, something was different...

1 of the songs they played was Clarinet Candy...
I think that made a huge impact on me...

This video only featured 2 clarinet players, while the SWSY concert featured 6... read carefully... SIX players...
Imagine the kind of hardwork, time and effort they need to put in to play and sound together...

Man, I really miss those days when my section and me worked our butts off for a concert or for competition...
The fun, the laughter, the frustrations, the tears...
Those were the days... [I think i'm making myself sound old here =| ]

My uncle, also the conductor of the SWSY, has been encouraging me to pick up my trumpet and join back his band...
Eh, no, he didn't force me, else i would have been in his band long time ago =p
Knowing him, i knew he didnt want to see my past efforts during my sec sch and jc times go to waste...

He definitely wldnt get me back to the band scene if he thinks that i dont have the talent to do so =p

Eh... I dont know the main purpose of this post... o_O
Just let me get something off my chest la =p
