I finally know why my pay for IA is so low le... (in case u didn't know, I'm getting $540 per mth)

1st day of IA
9:00 am
Reported to work and filled up some forms for a bitch HR personnel... Yes, she's really one kind lor... Told us to ask questions, and when someone did, she fired back 'How come you can ask such a simple question?' Wah lau, that question sounded relevant to us lor... I hope I don't have to see her again, else I'll show her my 'Whats your problem' face... Haha... Nono, I don't have that kind of guts...

9:50 am
My supervisor came to pick me up from the conference room and brought me to a room where I have my own cubicle and computer... She forgot that I don't have a password to log onto the computer , so I can't use it for research yet... Argh~

10:00 am
She brought me to the chemical lab i'll be working in... Yup, she brought me around the small lab and showed me the various emergency procedures in case anything happens (choy~)... Then left me with something to study and read... Which is to let me be aware of the dangers and hazards of the chemicals I'll be working with... No leh, I wasn't scared out of my wits =P

12:00 pm
Went for lunch and came back at 1:00pm... The other lab technicians went for a 1 & 1/2 hour lunch... =X

1:00 pm
Started stoning inside the lab and waited for my supervisor for further instructions, cos I've finished reading the notes le... Dunno in that 1 hour of waiting and stoning, I inhaled in how much of the poisonous gas... Yar, the chemicals that are used in the lab are... V CONCENTRATED can? The notes say that some of the vapours can cause damage to lungs de... No wonder the two supervisors told me to stay out of the lab unless I need to do experiments there... o_O

2:30 pm
The supervisor told me to go home le... Aiyo, still later than my friend's timing, cos she went home at 12.30... Wah wah wah~

2nd day of IA
9:00 am
Reported for work... Waited for 15 mins before the lab supervisor came down to the lab...

9:15 - 11:30 am
Prepared my first sol-gel... Yar, the chemicals STINK, especially after you mix everything together and start getting reactions... But the process was really fun, cos u get to handle the v CONCENTRATED solutions... MUAHAHAHA~
Took some act cool photo in the lab, think will post them up at a later time, but I look so weird, my hair is in a BIG mess (as usual)...

11:30 am - 1 pm
Slacking in the NTU library, cos the lab supervisor told me that I can go home and read up on more info after I've finished the experiment... But need to wait for my overall supervisor leh, she has been missing since 11:30 lor...

I'm so ecstatic now... Cos I finally watched the new Ring Ring Ring MV of S.H.E le... So HIGH~
Luckily nobody is beside me in the library...

1:30 - 2:30 pm
Spent 1 hour talking in the library with my friend, cos she also 白拿薪水 (bai2 na2 xin1 shui3)... Okay lar, she v guai 1 can? Cos she really got nothing to do mah, her supervisor is busier than mine... I'm the one that is 白拿薪水 (bai2 na2 xin1 shui3) de... =P

2:30 - 3:30 pm
Went back to the SimTech building to meet my supervisor to get my temporary pass and then to the sol-gel lab to see my 1st baby (ok lar, is my 1st time I'm making the thing mah, v excited can?)... She say quite ok lor, not too bad... Haha, of cos, cos I only watch the pro lab supervisor do and I just pour in the last part of the solution, which is de-ionised water a.k.a distilled water (distilled water call distilled water lor, make such a pro name for what? I blur for 15 mins before I know that de-ionised water is distilled water)... After that, she gave me a mini chemistry lesson... Half of the time, I dunno what she's talking about, cos of all the chim-chim chemical structure... Need to go do research and brush up le lor... Aiya~

3:30 pm - 6:30 pm
Continue to go back to the library to slack, cos I still can't access their computer without the password, anyway, their network speed is so sloooow... Like only 56k... So I told my supervisor I prefer to go back to NTU library to use lor, goodness, she also know our network is faster =P
Yup... So i continue to slack with my friend lor... But she's v hardworking, cos in comparison, i was falling asleep and kept watching the new mv... Haiz... I'm too lazy for this IA le... Muz ganbate le, else I think I'll have nothing to write for my report...

Sidetrack abit...
I gave Huang Xiao Chu a scare at yishun mrt yesterday... Aiyo... I feel so bai2 chi1 now... So embarassing...
